Sam and Matt, a young married couple from Texas, always dreamed of growing their family but faced fertility challenges that left them longing for the missing piece to make their home complete. They turned to adoption, believing love and family are built by choice and commitment.

Within just two months, Sam and Matt were matched with an expectant mother who valued their Hispanic heritage and the strong family values they could offer her child. The match was a beautiful fit — one built on shared hopes and deep respect.
In August, Sam and Matt welcomed their baby, lovingly called Baby B, through a semi-open adoption. The couple traveled just a few hours to support their birth mother during an unexpected C-section, making sure she felt cared for and honored every step of the way.
Adoption Choices of Texas guided the family from start to finish — from a fast-track Saturday Zoom training to prepare them for a quick match, to compassionate in-hospital support provided by the Executive Director. Together, everyone left the hospital with peace, confidence, and a shared belief in the love behind this adoption plan.
Sam and Matt’s journey is a reminder that adoption can bring unexpected beauty and connection.
